Golden Leopard!

So I just got back from my cheer competition Sunday (we placed second! :D ) and because I had to leave my nails bare the whole weekend I decided I would do something kind of basic for back to school. Both my mom and my sister used lighthouse for there cheer themed Konadicures and I really liked the color. I didn't really feel like combining plates and designs so I decided that I'd go with my favourite plate, which would be M57 <3.

What I Used:
The regular nail things (Remover, Q-tips, etc.)
Konad things (IP holder, scraper, etc.)
M57
Maybelline express finish base & top coat
Essie Good to Go

My favourite plate! <3

Step 1:
I started off with cutting my cuticles again, following that up with 1 coat of Maybelline.
After applying the base I realized that I really needed to clean under my nails so I cleaned them up with a nail brush and cuticle stick.

Ewwww! Gotta clean up those nails ;)
Step 2:
I applied 2 coats of China Glaze Lighthouse and patiently waited for them both to dry. I really wanted a kind of opaque sparkly look so I added 2 more coats on.

Without Essie
They were quite thin coats and after about 6 I lost count but I got a little impatient after the fifth coat and just ended up waiting very little in between coats and it was taking a little too long to dry completely so I carefully applied 1 coat of Essie to each nail and they dried very quickly after applying it.
With Essie
Step 3:
Using the leopard/cheetah print and Chocolate special stamping polish I carefully stamped the print on to eahc fingers. Syprisingly, both pinkies didn't want to stamp and they ended up being duds.
Step 4:
Added 1 coat of Essie Good to Go and I was done! :D
